They are still pretty new to NASCAR, but they are loving every minute of their sponsorship. Heres a sponsor that came into the sport in February, and they are so thrilled with the program that they are already sponsoring a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, too. For me, its really important for the No. 60 Toyota to be out front at Michigan this weekend because Con-way is really blowing it out in a big way to celebrate their sponsorship of the Con-way Freight 200. My sponsor (Con-way Freight) is based about 45 minutes from the track in Ann Arbor and they are bringing a thousand or more employees and customers to celebrate their title sponsorship of the race and the No. 60 Toyota. I cant tell you how badly I want to bring home the checkered flag for them as thanks for their support. Career at Michigan International Speedway: Sprague has four career starts at Michigan International Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with a career best finish of fourth. He also has three starts in NASCAR Busch and Nextel Cup competition combined. Sprague hopes to turn that around this weekend in his sponsors race, the Con-way Freight 200. For Sprague, there might be some added confidence knowing that the 2004 race sponsors truck went to Victory Lane at Michigan International Speedway. (The No. 24 Line-X Toyota driven by Travis Kvapil won the Line-X 200 at Michigan in 2004). Racing at Michigan International Speedway is always special to me because I still have a lot of family and friends and even a home in Michigan. Its pretty neat to go to a track, and have a lot of support from the fans. I guess in some ways, Im the home town favorite. This year, well have a lot of extra support from all the Con-way Freight employees and customers who will be there at the race. To get a win at my home track would be pretty cool. But I really want to win this weekend for Con-way. This race is right in their backyard, and a win at Michigan in their race would mean the world to all the people they are bringing. I hope that I can pay back Con-way for all of their support this season by driving the No. 60 truck into Victory Lane at Michigan. Notes: Sprague will make his 232nd career start at Michigan in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this week. Sprague has 25 career victories (2nd highest in the Series) and 28 career poles. 2006 Quick Facts Starts 9 Wins 0 Top-5 Finishes 4 Top-10 Finishes 5 Poles 0 DNFs 0 Average Start 13.3 Average Finish 11.5 Points Position 5th Backstretch Motorsports
