| Location: Memphis Motorsports ParkMemphis, Tenn. This weeks race truck for Memphis Motorsports Park is Chassis No. 5-76. This truck last saw action at Gateway International Raceway in April. Mike Skinner was running in the top five when a cut right front tire sent the No. 5 Tundra into the outside wall. The truck has been completely rebuilt since the accident. Welcome home Memphis Motorsports Park is the home track of team owners Bill and Gail Davis, who grew up across the river in Arkansas. The Davis first business venture, Bill Davis Trucking, started over 30 years ago and is located in Batesville, Ark. Bill Davis Trucking employs more than 60 people. Autographs anyone? Skinner and his Bill Davis Racing teammates will participate in the Craftsman Tools autograph session on the pit lane of Memphis Motorsports Park Friday, July 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The autograph session is free to all season ticket holders to MMP. Top-Ten finish Memphis Motorsports Park is one of three active tracks on which the 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion does not have a top-10 finish. He has also failed to finish in the top 10 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway and Lowes Motor Speedway. This statistic is rather unusual for Skinner, who has compiled 67 top-10 finishes in 117 career starts. He averages a top-10 finish in every 1.74 races. Out and about Skinner and his teammates will meet local fans Saturday, July 15, from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The meet and greet will be located in the Memphis Motorsports Park hospitality tent behind turn four. Listen and Watch The OReilly 200 is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m. ET Saturday, July 15. It will broadcast live on Speed (TV), MRN (radio) and XM Radio channel 144. I do not understand why, because at the end of last year we were really running well and were a threat to win races week in and week out. Somewhere over the winter we forgot how to communicate, and now we have that back. [Crew chief] Jeff Hensley is doing a phenomenal job on the pit box. The combination of me not making mistakes and Jeff having the confidence to know the he is the man gives this team a boost. It is an honor to drive this truck for these guys every week. It is such a shame we havent won this season because at in least at three of the last five races, the No. 5 truck has been the one to beat. We are just going to keep clicking and hope we can get Bill and Gail Davis another win for their trophy case. -more- We have really struggled at Memphis, and I do not know why. It is the type of racetrack I like. We have had some issues there, and I do not know what we have to do to fix them. We are taking a truck that has the same set-up that it had when we won the race at Richmond last fall. Jeff and I have not had that much opportunity to work together at Memphis, but I think with time we will get our Tundra back on track there.
