| Toyota plans to roll out flexible-fuel versions of the Tundra by 2008, according to a Japanese newspaper. The newspaper did not quote any sources but said the trucks would be built in San Antonio or at the company's Princeton, Ind., pickup plant. Toyota has been a leader in the development of hybrid gas and electric technologies. But domestic automakers Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Corp. have been leading the way with ethanol-powered pickup trucks. Ford, GM and DaimlerChrysler have said they want to increase their production of ethanol-powered models to 2 million vehicles by 2010. Toyota plans to introduce an ethanlol-powered Corolla in Brazil, which is the largest ethanol-producing country in the world. San Antonio Express
