| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Low mileage, seatbelts won't retract. Brakes are a total disaster! I don't know how something like that happens. | |
| General comments? | Brakes. It is really amazing to find all of these reviews mentioning this brake issue that my dealer is only now starting to admit to. I was of course blamed for the problem. Or they would say that it's just a very heavy vehicle and that I should have realized that the brakes would wear down after 5000 miles and that the rotors would be warped. I knew better. If you are thinking about a Tundra, don't do it. They have not fixed the problem for 2004. You will be in and out of the brake shop every few thousand miles and the problem will cost you thousands by the end of the truck's life. | |
