| | Model | Toyota Tundra | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | soft suspension in front bottoms out on mild off-road dips. Transmission shifts harder now. I have had a few problems and I am extremely dissapointed because toyotas aren't supposed to have this many. Here they are:four-wheel drive actuator switch, both manifold gaskets, mass air flow sensor, defective seat belt, cheap tires (dunlop), 20% of the dash lights went out (hard to see at night). Although most of these were covered under warranty (around $2500) I am nervous because my warranty is almost up and the dealer tells me that my transmission is fine. I wonder now if they should have built them in Japan...I would pay a little more for better reliabillity like most foreign cars are known for. | | | | |
