General comments?Decent truck, but not top dog. I had a 1979 Trans AM with a 400 engine that got better gas mileage than this 3.4 liter Middle East Supporter. I like the ride but it's loud inside. I had some tree sap on the paint one day and when I rubbed it off, the primer showed through - paint must be real thin. I have about 9000 miles on it now with no major problems. I won't take it to the dealer for maintenance, because the first time I went in they didn't want to fulfil their "we-owe" list. I don't trust them. If I can't fix the problem, I'll take it to a trusted auto shop. There in a real bind at the dealership too. There offering "Tires for Life" but you have to have the car maintained at their facility. My transmission thumps when stopping sometimes and I've been told they all do it and Toyota would like to know why. It's a good to get around town truck, but I wouldn't like it for a road truck.
Previous carFord F150 - Never had a problem and road like a Cadillac.
