| | | General comments? | Overall, I am pleased with this truck. It rides nice, tows decent, looks good, and is put together nicely. I do not like the rear doors. Access to them is difficult when parked next to another vehicle, or in a garage (Front doors must be opened first). I will never buy a leather interior again. I have had splits in the leather and vinyl (yes, the leather is only on the flat surfaces...the sides are vinyl...come on Toyota...31K truck!) Toyota has replaces both seat covers twice...no questions asked. I am not happy with the gas milage either. The best I did was 14mpg. I have 19K miles on it, and have had no mechanical or brake problems. I can't wait for the tires to wear out so I can buy tires that actually hook-up. If I get on it around a turn, it sounds like a burn-out at Sears point raceway. I am glad to see Toyota making a "true" 4-door crew cab in '04. I would definately consider buying this truck, except Toyota has not offered a more powerful motor to keep competitive. O'well, maybe next year. | | | Previous car | F-150 |
