| General comments? | I,ve been driving trucks for about 20 yrs, and when I ws ready to buy a new one, I wanted the best there was. Since I do light construction, I didn't need a bruiser. The Tundra seemed perfect for me. The truck looks great, it handles great, it stops like crap. The brakes absolutely suck. I have 5,000mi on my truck and the dealer says that I warped the rotors. I've been driving for 32 yrs and never warped rotors before. I'm just starting to get involved with the dealership. You should have seen the mechanics face when I dropped the TSB on his lap. He still insists that he has to road test the vehicle. Why? So that he can tell me that the rotors have to be turned? Face it guys, Toyota knows they screwed up on this one, but they refuse to do a recall. Arm yourself with a copy of their service bulletin BR004-02 and go have some fun with your dealer. | |
