Add Your Review! SR5 Extended Cab
| | Model | SR5 Extended Cab | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | I am not happy with the company for not standing behind a problem with the 4WD. Vibrations felt throught the steering wheel, gas pedal, brake and to a lesser extent through the cab. The problem is very noticable and progressively gets worse. Dealer and toyota customer service just wants me to live with this but the product does not deliver what toyta tundra should deliver. By the way when the 4wd is engaged the vibration and noise goes completely away and the truck drives the way it did when new and the way it should for many more miles to come. COMPLETELY DISSATISIFIED WITH THE PRODUCT AND TOYOTA BECAUSE OF THIS. I have driven in Ford Chevy Dodge and even 4runners and tacomas, none of which has any issues like this. | | | | |
| | | General comments? | The truck has great ride and power.
BEWARE of an ISSUE with the 4WD. Vibration and noise at 25 to 40 mph with 4wd disengaged. The noise and vibration disappears when 4wd is engaged. Toyota does not view this as a problem. With only 9000 miles on mine and after paying over $26000 for it I am here to tell you it is a problem. Dealer admits mine is a severe case but they are not willing to do anything about it. I drive primarily in these speed ranges and REGRET purchasing this truck. | | | Previous car | none |
